Default crazy thought...

so im really thinking about going to 37's but want more clearance...currently it's a 2.5 tgc level kit, and body lift on 36's...i was driving and thinking about.....wat if i took a rancho ready lift and combined it with my current leveling kit/spacer and threw some 2-3" blocks inthe rear??? i wonder if it would work ....CV angle wouldnt be bad.....just a thought...i guess i could be the test dummy....like the headlight attempt i did and we all know how that ended up....burnt headlight n the oven lol

i don't think you can do the ready lift AND spacers like you have. your control arms and half shafts will hate you.

this is my thoughts.....i had 33's stock on it with a 2.5 levl on it....then i added 3 more inches of tires so that brought my cv angle up another 1.5" so still 1 inch more than stock with the 33's....so if I went from 36 to 37 that's another .5" of added angle...so I'll be at 1.5" total inches of angle...is this crazy or wat...lol

pull the spacers out an put a 4" suspension lift on it. You'll be at 7" which is where I'll be after I add the 3" body lift to my Rancho 4" suspension lift... Clear 37 and probably 38s. With no real advance on the CV angle...

The coil over IFS suspension kits are a bit cheaper than the torsion bar ones. You can prolly get into a good 4" suspension kit for about $1100-1200 without shocks.
Sounds like a lot, but after having three body lift trucks and now this suspension lift, ain't no comparison! A suspension lift is a dream, compared to just a body lift.

you're confusing the two. just because you put bigger tires on it doesn't mean you reduced the lift. you already had a 2.5 inch level, and that's still there. If you only need another 1/2 inch to clear the tires, then get slightly larger spacers. but adding another 2 inches on those control arms, shocks, CVs is just a bad idea. nevermind that I don't think you can even do it, or do it and get aligned.

+1 That is my next big MOD! I already have a 3in body lift and can't wait to add the 4in Rancho suspension lift

i wish i could figure out how to reduce my pic quality so i can put some updated pics in my album. if you can see it, my profile pic is of my '03. it has 3" body and 4" suspension on 35's. +1 with hammer, you could definately squeeze 37's to 38's with 7" of lift. if you can see in my pic, there is a $ht ton of room in the wheel well. just can the spacer all together and save the money it will take to replace your half shafts down the road.
