got mine on too. the only thing i donnt like is that there is not a pad on the tube part for the step into the bed. might call them and see if i can get one and install it myself.

what makes these so expensive? I'm really thinking about just making my own.

the reason i think they are expensive cause in my opinion they are the best looking steps out there. plus they are just not a single tube like all the rest. alot more time and effort into making them. and more material. and i am telling you these were the heaviest steps i have ever installed. it was like they were solid. super thick and good quality.
