I know the stock shocks on my 08 2wd suck!! Too soft and the truck will change lanes in a curve if you hit a hard bump. I will probably use the Rancho RS5000 shocks on mine. I likes them on my 01 F150 I had. Stiff, but not too harsh.

Replace them as you would any other shock

The fronts are shocks too...I dunno where you guys get this strut thing. Yes the coil is over the shock but that doesn't make them struts.

I wish I had your guy's problem of a soft suspension...mine brings back memories of riding in the back of a POS 5 ton.

Shockwarehouse.com has the set of 4 for $272 with free shipping, don't beat it by a whole lot, but beats it. This is for the Heavy Dutys...

I went and bought the Bilsteins from the local guy. For 8 bucks I will go with the local supplier. I did not see the post about the one free. That sucks.

Hopefully I will be able to do these this weekend and I will try to take pics and do a write up.
