If you are talking about monitoring the IAT to see how much your resistor is changing the reading, then yes you can do that with the SC datalogging.

Cold weather is not an issue with the resistor mod. There's a temperature floor at which it no longer affects the fuel / timing. Mine is permanently installed in conjunction with the Superchips 91 tune (93 octane gas here).
Just to see if you can feel a difference with it on or off in the warmer weather. I was bored at work and needed something to do anyway...

Before I posted the link to the Dak discussion, I emailed the guy who was building the wires for everybody. I asked him if I would see greater improvement over my airram power wire, if i installed his. he didnt answer.

So I will ask you guys, what'da think? Also, can i take the power wire out of my truck right now, put in this other resistor, and make it work if i believe there might greater power gains? (granted power gains are going to be minimal... i know)

Its the same resistor. 4.7K Ohms...
