Hemi baby. In the near future you will want to start modding your truck. Do yourself a favor and get the hemi. You will thank yourself in the future.

 

i think its more closer to 3-4 mpg. the hemi doesnt offer the manual

 

ok then get an cai and tuner and your gained it back plus more power

 

do the same mods with the 4.7 and its back in the lead , plus with the extra $ youre saving, you can do more

If the 4.7 is capable of doing everything a 5.7 can do, then why have the 5.7?

Dont get me wrong, Ive worked the **** out of 4.7, to the point that I was sweating in the process, literally. But its not meant for it.

Dont just assume that since youve done something, its the written way. The HEMI has proved time and time again to be a hell'eva workhorse beyond the 4.7.

None of the 09 1500's are manuals anymore. My advice would be to get the 5.7 b/c the mileage difference is minimal and you get plenty of extra power.

Yea you definitely want one of the 09's. Dodge claims the aerodynamics are improved and more power, plus you can get them for the price of a used truck with low miles on it.
