Default 4th gen swap for 3rd gen?

Okay so just theoretically thinking... Since the differences between the 3rd and 4th generations inst too too dramatic, if the right person did it, Would the interior or dash or even parts of a 4th gen be able to install in a 3rd gen? Brainstorm.

NO WAY! '09 completely re-engineered from the ground up. Just traded up from an '08 and the difference is dramatic...one hell of a truck.

i'd trade my 02 for an 09 :-p maybe bountyhunters ram? haha j/k i know that stuff wouldn't happen, the 09 rams are sooooooo sick looking now.

sorry if this seems blasphemous but the new f-150s are really nice also :-O

I'd still take the 09 Ram Single cab shortbed over it though

My dealer gave me an '09 Ram Crew 1500 Laramie to drive for the day when I left my 3500 (to get the bedliner sprayed in). IMHO, that is a lot of truck for the money.

Sorry, but in my opinion the new F150's are really ugly now! They weren't that great last year, and got worse this year!

I'm just curious how the 2009 coil rear axle will handle towing?

I guess it would depend what you're towing.

When I go on vacation, I tow a 33' travel trailer so I won't buy anything less than a 1 ton (SRW). I would think the new 1500 would be fine for towing a boat, though (the 5.7L Hemi certainly has enough power).

if you go on fords websites they have videos of the new F-150 in different perfomance and towing tests and mike rowe is like hosting all the videos, its actually pretty damn cool. My dad was watching them the other night and, not gonna lie, they're pretty nuts lol...

The ram I think was in like 2nd place and the Toyota tundra just SUCKED out loud on all the tests (watch the rough terrain video and watch the tundra's bed nail the cab almost)

no lie the new f-150 is a great truck. sure it does not have the power of the hemi, but it makes up for it in many different aspects. the new super dutys....wow they kick the crap out of the 2500 3500 dodge's. and that not just me saying that...it's everyone....
