Default looked at a 05

hey guys i was bored the other day so i went to the dodge dealer, i asked about a used trucks

there was one there it was a 05 quad cab short bed with 30xxx miles on it with hemi, looks basically stock, need a bedliner and tarno cover, but thhey want 16000 for it way outta my league may have to stick with my 2000 5.9. i just bought mine more than a year ago for 9100 and put decent money into it also, custum taillights headlights, cai, msd igntion,fastman,1.7 harland sharps, magnaflow cat, extreme muffler 24inch tips, ngk plugs, bed liner, tarno lots more i missed but my point is its running like a champ and well maintained it has 129xxx and the 05 has 30xxx i would love to have a truck with low miles so i dunno.

is the 05 even a good year for the trucks??

I love my 05, the front ends are alot better then 06-08. but thats a lil pricey for that truck. I would talk then down to 14-15k

To me, 05 was the best year for used Rams, I don't like the coilover front end and the softer suspension around.

But the price is definitely too high.

i like my 05....honestly, for a couple thousand more you could buy a brand new truck so they need to come down a couple grand

I'm a big fan of the '04 & '05s, better PCM than the '03s (but it would be nice to not have an EGR like the '03s) torsion bar fronts, no stupid MDS.

But they are crazy asking $16k for it, hell when gas got crazy, I had a friend trade in his '05 QCSB, mint condition, 39k on it and they gave him $8200 for it! Put it on the lot for $12,995! And you know they'll come down from the price on the window.
Hell, I've seen used '07s with under 20k miles for sale around here for $16-18k.

Get them down in the $12-13k range and jump on it, otherwise, let it sit on there lot for $16k, trust me, it'll sit there a while...

I agree. $12-13K is more accurate. They are crazy asking that price.
