Default Few problems with my 07

was looking under my 07 ram (26,000 mi) today and found a few problems

my right front axle seal is leaking and also my drivers side front shock is leaking.

I also have a popping sound coming from the steering when i turn the wheel to full lock and bring it back maybe like a tie rod? it doesnt do it all the time but it has done this several different times....

anyone have any idea what this may be and will the factory warranty cover my leaking ram?

The warranty should cover the leaks.

Isn't the factory warranty a bumper to bumper 3 years/36k miles? I'd say everything should be covered. I believe the only things that are not covered are items that wear (brake pads, wipers, tires, etc). Intermittent problems are the worst though... If you can reproduce it in a certain way, it's best to demonstrate it to them yourself. Otherwise they will say they "can't reproduce the problem."

They'll do as little as required to satisfy the warranty... In other words if only one is leaking, they will only replace that one.

Should all be covered under the bumper to bumper 3yr/36K warranty.
The axle leak should also be covered under the lifetime powertrain warranty as part of the front axle on a 4x4.

I would almost go with better aftermarket shocks if it was me. They are too soft on my 08 2wd. But I would get the one replaced and swap them after the 3yr/36K is up.

like a month after i had my 07, i went in for the 1st oil change and the tech found my right axle coming out of the diff. The part that the axle slides into and locks was defective. The tech said if i would have took a turn the wrong way my whole axle could have came right out. They replaced the axle, the piece it locks into and seals. Apparently thats a commom problem on the 07's
