guess as soon as it quits snowing I will be cleaning mine as well unless someone wants to spnsor me an after market model..i would allow you to with out any objections.

Mine looked like that when I swapped to my new one too. I only have 25K on mine.

How badly could that affect gas mileage and power? Would you notice a big difference after you clean it?

Is the TB in the middle of the engine at the top in a dark plastic box that says whatever your engine size is? "4.7 Magnum", "5.7 Hemi"?

I wonder why they all build up like that?

I had 230,000kms on my old 99 dak, and it wasnt even that bad when I cleaned it...

I think it has something to do with the EGR tie in location. I've got 163K miles on mine. I bet it's filthy.

I bet that mine is nastily dirty also. Might have to have it cleaned when I get a tuneup done on my truck. I'm doubting that it was ever cleaned before, so that might help me get an mpg or 2 better, I hope.
