Dodge Complaint(s)...NTSB
all makes have there problems. its not just dodge. my buddies 08 chebby 2500,4x4 has 24k on it and has been to the shop more times than i can count on with both hands, with all different kind of issues.more times than my 02 has been. the only thing i have had to replace is the alternator and one tie rod end.
my thoughts are either you get a good one or you get a bad one no matter what the make.

Look at the evaporator core while you're in there! Just as flakey as the blend doors and just as likely to go at anytime. Was recommended by EVERYONE when I did the blend doors in the Jeep GC! Part is cheap and trust me, you get all the way in there and put it back together, you ain't ever gonna want to do it all over again...
Hate to say it, but I'm a long time Honda owner (7 total), maybe I expected too much.

exactly my point ( i wasn't praising GM, it was just the truck i had since the 90's ) and giving them billions of dollars for bailouts isn't going to improve quality, actual the exact opposite. lets face it, building quality vehicles isn't good for business and as long as they stick together and all produce crap, they should be just fine. the days of producing quality products ( cars / fridges / etc.... ) that last 15 - 20 years is gone, they have gotten so fat and bloated they need you to have to buy a newer product much sooner.
well i'm not interested, as soon as my warranty is up and dodge won't fix my truck for free, i'm just going to replace everything that breaks with quality after market parts and avoid giving them any money. we just had a meeting at work and we've decided not to buy new trucks every year ( we replace a couple of the fleet every year ) and just continue to fix / upgrade the older solid trucks we already own. i know the Ferd dealer wont be calling me again after laughing him out of our yard over their powerjoke engine that self destructs at 250K but i should still have some fun when dodge calls.
Well, I love my Ram and It has a bumper to bumper warranty for 72mo or 85,000 miles. Plus the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. And for the price that I gave for the truck, I really can't complain.
All it really needs is a bit stiffer shocks to firm it up some and keep in it the lane that I am driving in when I hit a large bump
and a Magnaflow Cat-back if they ever update the kit to fit the 08 Hemi, due to a different cat converter supplier, the 06-07 kit will not fit.
