There are 5 or 6 clips across the front of that trim piece. I gently pried in the middle and it popped up for me.
Be careful when pulling it towards you, I left a small scratch in the grainy section on the dash. Hard to see, but I know it's there.

I have Pioneer 4 way 6x9's in the front doors, Sony Xplode 6.5" way's in the rear doors and Infinity Reference 3.5" in the dash using the supplies bass blocker resistor so they don't blow.
I wouldn't bother changing the rear door speakers though, they get very little power and have really heavy magnets and sound as good as the Sony's.
wait, do all rams have speakers in the dash?
you said not to change your rear speakers because they get too little power. if you change you HU, wouldnt it be better then to change them since a new HU puts out way more power?

yeah, i just changed my HU a couple days ago too. man, i didnt know it would make such a huge difference but i need to get on changing my speakers. im not sure my stock ones can handle all that power. i think theyre starting to fry lol. i already have some rockford fosgate 6x9s for the doors that i need to put on. im not sure whether or not to change my rear 5 1/4s since i have a reg cab

I have 2 10's as well... if you plan on putting in subs dont even bother because you cant hear them anyway.... the ones in the dash on the other hand i may have to invest in. been thinking about this for a little while

i am planning on putting subs in the back but i may just put one 10 or 12 in one of those regular truck boxes. they arent very big and so im not sure if it will cover the noise from the 5 1/4s but it should add some noticeable bass.
hey damien, what are the dimensions for your sub box and where did you get it?
also, how big of a difference would the speakers in the dash make? i didnt even know i had them and when i tried to listen for them, i still couldnt hear them. i might not even had them. i see the 3 circles in the dash for what looks like speakers and the 3 rectangular air vents
just wondering, which rams came with the 4 speaker setup and which with the 7?

there should be 3 round vents in your dash right where the windshield is.. with the rectangular vents... their isnt any speakers in them unless you have the infinity sound... but you can put speakers in there thats what im gonna do
