installing lift... removing torsion bars?
Haha, no kidding.
And freerider, you can say you've done tons of lifts, but that's not going to impress this group very much. At the moment you've got no vehicle listed or pictured. Perhaps you should show the group what it is you're driving around before you get all judgemental.
And it if you expect to have credibility, it better kick *** after starting all this.

I'm sure he probably doesn't even know what vehicle he drives, judging by the first two ir three posts in this thread he OBVIOUSLY has NO CLUE what he is talking about. And actually there "freerider" you would be a good definition of a "post *****" considering NONE of the posts you have put in this thread are of any use to ANYONE. He'll probably go to google images and type in "bad *** Dodge" or something and copy and paste the image and claim its his lol!
Well I got it installed and I honestly doesn't ride much worse than stock. I am very impressed with it and for the money I think it is a very good kit.
and as for your comment free rider..... I don't really care what you think. Also the CV axels are not at a huge angle because If you knew what your were talking about, you would know that the front differential DOES NOT sit where it always has because the kit comes with drop brackets for your front differential. There for it is not at much greater angle than stock. So unless you have something positive to say and actually KNOW what your talking about then keep it to yourself and stop acting like you know what your talking about because its obvious you dont.
So for anyone looking for a good quality affordable lift kit (not top of the line obviously) I highly recommend the Rough Country kit. People like Freerider are steering people away from them only because they don't know what they are talking about.
Thanks,
Steve

WOW!!! ding ding! +1 whiteram. Believe me im not trying to start anything here but I also installed my own RC lift, and my diff was lowered by brackets. so if you really have installed lots of lifts, maybe you should slow down and read the instructions. (there is a part that reads " install differental drop brackets"). just a word of caution..this site is full of many gearheads, so becarefull that your mouth doesnt write a check you cant cash. Im ASE certified and I still feel real small, and learn much everytime I log in to DF.
i hate to break up your guys tea party but i have a question. i just put on the rough country leveling kit and when its all said and done i only got a little over an inch out of it. im nervous because the stock torsion bolt is really tight and im scared if i tighten it anymore im going to break it. should i be worried? the front still isnt level with the back which is what im trying to achieve.
well ive done lifts left and right on many vehicles,,,,,lets say got some experience, and i dont hold my ase certs over anyone here, everyone here has helped me with something in a short period of time.......i would have to say the freerider has thrown a heavy reading on my douche bag meter!!!!!!!people like that make me feel better about myself, im glad i dont think i know everything, and congrats on the lift, once you put one on your own truck it makes you feel like youve accomplished something
