The heavily modded SRT-4's or Mustangs are far and few. And another tuner can usually tell when a vehicle has been modded that heavily by the sound of the exhaust, the width of the tires or the stack of gauges - there's usually something that gives it away or at least hints at it. In the year I had the vette I only lost twice - to a Viper and to a newer Z06.
