crutchfield says there 61/2 there gay >.<

but i tried i have master template for the speakers i dont see a way to mod them in i guess ill look for a decent set of 5 1/4S?

if anyone is intrested iv got audiobahn 6x9's and 6 1/2 for sale:P

im just gonna go alpine in the doors all around i hate mix and match!

good choice man i have alpines type s in my door. i got them from audiovideodimension.com i wanna say it was around 100 for all four.

are the rears direct replacement or was there some modding that had to be done?

everything was a direct replacement. just take the old ones out and put in the new ones. it was an easy install

Mine had the stock 5.25" speakers in the back and I replaced them with some 6.5" Pioneers. They mounted right up no problem.

ive heard that kicker and rockford fosgates are good too. you might want to look into them. i just bought some rockford 6x9s for my doors.

also, you might want to think about getting an adapter to fit 6-1/2s in your front doors. circular speakers should sound better than oval ones because they do not have the distortion that comes from the ends of the oval speakers.

I put 6 1/2" in the rear doors of mine. All I had to do was drill new holes.

so i guess 6 1/2s can fit in a rear door of a quad cab
