You should rid yourself of the entire infinity and mopar kicker "system" and go full aftermarket. I promise it is much better. The Infinity is better than stock but still sucks.

i agree with weedahoe...go aftermarket.....i found the easiest way around the factory amp was to run all new speaker wires to the doors from the dash and eliminate the factory amp completely....when you go trying to install aftermarket speakers in the doors they will actually sound worse than stock because the factory amp has a built in crossover....

I wish mine had the Infinity system. My wife has the Musicgate system in her Caliber. 368W, 8 speakers and a sub in the rear. Sounds great.

I also ran all new wires for my new door speakers and radio. All my oem wiring is intact. I bought 100 ft roll of 14ga wire and didn't even use half of it.

As the others have said, the factory Infinity amp ain't so great. It acts more like a crossover than an amp. My Chrysler 300M came with the upgraded Infinity system, and the amp was considered to be 360 watts. What a joke! I ripped out the entire system and put in a fairly inexpensive Pioneer setup. I used a Pioneer amp that puts out 40 watts RMS, and it totally blows away the factory stuff! I'm sure the factory system in the Ram is very similar, and whatever wattage rating they assign to the Infinity amp is not useful for comparison purposes.
