I like my spectre intake I bought from airram.

They also have a whole page full of intakes they offer at a reasonable price.

I just purchased and installed Airaid's MIT that uses the stock air box that I have a K&N filter in and have noticed better throttle response and so far a little increase in MPG and that was for little over $100.00.

Either way you go, 300 seems a little high. You can find more for less. If your going to spend $300, you might as well buy the BFI.

I just ordered my BFI From Airflow Innovations. They make them for the 5.7 and 4.7. They aren't cheap though.

I just made one out of 4" PVC, and it has been good for me... I have not had any problems, and it has been installed for about a year. Cost me about $40 with the rubber boots, and they are far more durable than the boots that I have gotten with past kits.

The spectre is a clone of the AEM and mopar intakes at a much cheaper price, so I would get it over the AEM. You could also try the trueflow kits which remove the hemihat and tubing, but keep the stock airbox. They are pretty cheap on amazon.com

i originally got the k n n and to be honest man i would get something cheaper....airram does make a good intake himself , and to be honest, i just redirected my kn n setup so my filter runs down like all the other intakes now and i got rid of that damn heat shield cause i was tire of lookin at it....im thinking of getting the air hammer which too me looks awesome and im sure has the same gains if your gonna go that price range
