Don't know but this thread just made me go down and buy that gauge and take out the busted pillar post and mount the gauge and the new pillar. Nothing is hooked up right now, I would have done the light, but my meter is in my toolbox which makes it hard to hook up the light to the dash dimmer circuit without a wiring diagram.
It's just this thread reminded me what a PIA it is to forget on grab the broken pillar all the time and almost end up on my a$$...

I will hopefully be doin my trans temp install this week. either monday or possibly wednesday. Ill attempt at pictures and a write up. And as for your guages, you can tap the guage light into the orange wire for your factory headlight switch. That should work just fine.

yes, it will work, but if you want it to brighten or dim with the existing gauges, you'll have to tap into the dimmer circuit, easy enough to find with a meter, I just happen to be 360 miles from mine right now...

This is at least the second time I've thought about doing a DIY. But... well, I haven't.

The orange light is the dimmer switch light. My guages light up and dim along with the factory guages.
