Cool, I took your earlier post to mean you hooked it up only to come on with the headlights. I'll tap into that sucker this afternoon, so it means all I'll have left to do is figure out if I'm going to tap into the line, or do the mag-hytech thing. I'd really like to have a tranny pan with a drain plug, but funds are low and Mag-Hytech is really proud of that pan...

Maybe I overdid the gauge, but I have a auto meter full sweep pahntom II on the way. I like the way the face is white during the day and only the needle and numbers are lit at night. Spendy but I've kinda been saving up for a good gauge. Ordered SRT a pillar Friday night and got it this afternoon!! That was fast!

Maybe some day i'll get my truck back from the mechanic!!!

So does ANYBODY know is there a type of sending unit out on the market that would just plug into a diagnostic port? Or something of similiar function that would work with a trans temp gauge? Are we stuck with either taping the line, drill into the factory pan, or go with a aftermarket pan? Those aftermarket pans are expensive !
