They are called wheels.

rim definition

rim (rim)

noun

1. an edge, border, or margin, esp. of something circular; often, a raised or projecting edge or border

1. the outer, circular part of a wheel
2. the metal flange surrounding the wheel of an automotive vehicle, on which the tire is mounted

And yes, you can get a 35" tire for them. www.tirerack.com www.treadepot.com www.summitracing.com . Make sure the lift that you will need to properly clear a 35 will work with the stock wheels. You may need a spacer or an aftermarket wheel with different backspacing.

The 315 is around 34.3" tall by 12.4" wide. The 325 is around 34.9" tall by 12.8" wide. Every tire is different. That is just from converting from improper metric BS to proper American units.

I didn't think a 325/70R17 even existed....

And, colloquially, rim is acceptable and understood to mean wheels. Given the context, I don't think its going to be confused for "a raised or projecting edge or border".

colloquial

Main Entry: col·lo·qui·al

Pronunciation: \kə-ˈlō-kwē-əl\
Function: adjective
Date: 1751
1 : of or relating to conversation : conversational
2 a : used in or characteristic of familiar and informal conversation; also : unacceptably informal b : using conversational style

Look. I too have found the dictionary online!
