Default Price of Headlights

I am going to get some headlights done for me so before they get modded up, the guy i that was going to do the lights for me said the lights are an OEM chrome set and he is asking 157 for each light..is this a decent price for these kind of lights?

Thanks

yeah thats what i was thinking too because if i add up everything he's charging me for, it comes out like this ... 157+157+200 (angel eyes kit)+60 (tints) = $574

If i spent that kind of money on headlights with my budget right now i would probably have to kick my own a$$ and if my parents found out i would never see the light of day again lol

$574 for headlights is just too much.

I just got this e-mail from him this morning...."it is 65 for the headlight tint, so the total would be 579, uninstalled. Install will run you an additional 150 for the angel eyes. Unfortunately, due to the complex design of the 02-05 headlights, we cannot install the tint on these trucks with the headlights loose. when the lights are on the truck, it is very easy to install. just wait for a nice sunny day.

let us know if you're interested. "

I replied back to him saying I'll try to find cheaper headlights new or used and i'll ship them out to him and e-mail him back when I get them so we can figure out the new price. 157 each is A LOT for each headlight, especially if its an OEM chrome set.

You can make your own Halos like Im doing or you can buy them and add them in yourself. Is this guy local to you or something or is he going to ship some to you that he has reworked?

You can find used stock headlights for less than 100 shipped and do the paint on the inside, the eyelids and even Halos and tint all by yourself.

Ive got a guy who is badass when it comes to headlights and customs. PM me if youre interested.
