I recently got 4.56 gears and a Detroit Truetrac installed, and once the gears are broken in, I definitely plan on doing some burnouts. Personally, I don’t care about wearing down the tires, since I want to get rid of the stock Goodyear HP’s. And I was planning on getting new tires before next winter anyway.

I actually only do burnouts with my good tires (very rarley!), only when it is raining on even flat pavement. Really fun. Sometimes i get my truck sideways. This is my truck BTW:

Hello guys. Im bumping this old thread to the top to let you all know what has happened! I sadly sold my good old dodge and it was the dumbest thing ive done. I then bought a 2005 z71. I had a ton of problems with it.. transmission, suspension, steering, and horrible gas mileage with the large tires so i sold it. THEN, i bought a 2006 cobalt.. i went to college, came back, then i traded that for a 1999 F250 7.3 diesel with a 6 speed manual. I really loved the truck, but for some strange reason i traded it about 4 months ago for a 1987 Firebird Trans Am (Ive also bought and sold about 9 other vehicles, my only memorable ones being a 1986 supra and a 1989 mustang gt). It now has a 383 stroker and a 6 speed stick. Over 500 horses, but now my "fooling" around is pretty much done. Im tired of going to vehicle to vehicle like they are women. Im thinking about buying another dodge ram like the one i had when i made this bogus thread over a year ago.

I want to do something a little different now though. Im going to sell the firebird for what i can. I want to buy a standard cab swb truck like the one i had, but with a v6. I want to swap the v6 for another hemi and im going to swap in a t56 tranny, upgrade the rear end, add some srt 10 rims, then paint it lime green, with an undecided band around the bed. Not sure what i want yet, but it will look a little like a rumble bee.

Well this isnt the right place to say what i had, but im sitting in bed missing my good old dodge and ram across this old thread i made. I had fun in that old truck, thanks for reading! Ill keep you posted when i start the conversion!

Idiot is the thing I can say without getting a banhammer to my face. But really....trying to "Drift" a truck like 151 said, it's not set up for it and really drifting involves the use of a modified e-brake....a hand operated one, not pedal operated.
