2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Pictures:
I spent Fri night (11-10-05) going over and under one of the Mega Cab 4x4's. That thing is the biggest turd I have ever seen. So much wasted space in the rear - with the front seat slid all the way back it's still like 4" from hitting my knees which is ok but they moved the front seat brackets forward to get that room so now there is lees room in the front! And so loooooooong. Screw parking that thing anywhere or going through your typical ATM at the bank And the blind spots are huge!! Also climbed over a Jeep Commander. Man DC is really slipping this year. [:'(]
I like it, lots of room for the kids in the back and could get the wife to sit in back without whinning on long trips, perfect, DVD over head with remote, perfect family ride to get out of the minivan plan, trouble is I bought a 04 Ram 2500 HEMI before I came over here to Korea, oh well, maybe i can convince her to let me buy a Dodge Challenger when it comes out...

I think they look lots like the new durango which looks like a fish. But I would buy one, I'd just take the older one first. But the grill looks, uh, "tight" ?

I don't think the new Ram looks like Durango. Putting them in a head on view, you will notice the "brand look" but the two are distinct from each other. It's not as obvious as the last gen Durango.
As far as the Mega-Cab goes, it should quiet the critics that keep putting up the Quad Cab Ram up against the F-150 Supercrew, Chevy Crew cab...ect and whine about passenger space....since the current quad cab is really Dodges "extended" cab pickup, not necessarily a "crew cab" pickup which is where the Mega-Cab comes into place. Interior looks much much better too although I'm sorta shocked that they didn't switch to the push down-pull up type window switches...sorta an odd oversight. Along with not offering a floor shift, would be a nice to offer Autostick.
As far as the "problems with the motor" comment.....if I'm not mistaken the MDS system was designed as part of the engine in the first place not something that was tacked on. The LX's are using it and only things that I've heard is the stalling issues.

I just got my megacab and it is awesome. I like the new headlights from a functional standpoint as there seems to be about 20% more light broadcast vs. the '05 models. The design is not necessarily the best but we all have to make sacrifices. The A/C cools the cab much faster than in the older version and the electric sliding back glass. The best part though is the back seat room. It is like being in a limo. We will see about the towing I am concerned that it won't hold up.
