Default New Owner Question

Hi Everyone,
I'm a new owner of 08 Ram 1500 3.7 V6. Have done some personalization on the truck and duals with a Thrush 1 in 2 out muffler. Not quite a v8 sound but still sound good. My question is will a cold air intake that fits an 07 fit an 08. Seller doesn't know. I called Dodge and they couldn't give me an answer since it's aftermarket. So here I am at the experts place asking. Any help appreciated.

Which intake is it? It should fit as from 04 to 05 is when they changed some layout under the hood.

most likely, i havent seen under the hood of an 08, but it cant be much different than my 06 or redbuds 07

check ebay cold air intakes with a k&n filter, they are cheap and work pretty good

I can't think of any reason that wouldn't fit. You could always get a different coupler if the one they send with it doesn't fit. Are you planning on doing a ram air hood or something?

if you're gonna run that dual thing, just stick a filter directly onto your throttle body.

air isn't gonna be much cooler (not that .1 degrees makes a difference), and there is less tubing for it to go through. get some headers first.

and if you don't know, go find an 06 or 07 and look under hood and compare. does it look similar? then it fits.

i think it should be fine. maybe the only difference is the air sensor might be on the other side. when i got my CAI, i had make a new hole in the pipe on the other side for the sensor
