Default Body Creaking/Squeeking

More of a creak than a squeek, everytime the truck frame torques just slightly (going around turns, over bumps, uneven road surface, etc.) the whole thing makes a loud creak. Much like a door hinge creaking, this is very similar to the same sound. Any idea what it could be? From the driver seat, it sounds like its coming from the passenger side rear cab body bolt, but I greased it yesterday and it hasnt gone away. Thanks

Muffler bearings??

sounds like i've got the same problem https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...a-problem.html this guy did back in 2005. no one responded to his question.

It started squeaking after my step bar install. If it is the muffler bearings, its a complete coincidence. I'd think it has to do something with the step bars and body bolts.

Could be blinker fluid too.

You won't get results here. Just go out, crawl under the truck and look. Have someone bounce on the step bars if you think that's what it is, while you're looking. I'd suspect a body mount or bushing before anything else.

I gave you the best information anyone could, go out and look.

You got sarcastic answers from me because you haven't even looked yourself to see what it is.

I'm from the boards where we convince people to spray WD40 in their cd players to get CD's out and pour sand in their intake to port and polish the heads.

I'm not kidding, people have actually done that and come back pissed.
