it was a ground problem with the trailer. i put a whole new wiring harness and lights on the trailer and cleaned all the metal surfaces with my air wheel and it still didnt work. i had to run a seperate ground while from the bolt on the back of each light directly to the frame of the trailer.

Dam RaiderJay, literally rofl. Good one.

Glad you found your problem Hemi07. Mind if I jack your thread now? Thanks

1)How do I become a "Silver Truck Club Member"?

2)I have the 4-way connector 'hanging' slightly below my rear bumber, buuuuuut no tow hitch. Maybe my truck came with one, but the original owner snatched it and sold it before trading it in? This has completly baffled me since I first looked at the truck.

BTW, not sucking up for stealing your thread, but your truck is badass Hemi07. My goal is to somewhat be your copycat.....

I doubt the original owner took the receiver off before he sold it. All rams (I think) come with the 4-pin dangling behind the bumper. For example, my ram did not come with a tow hitch either but thad the 4-pin there. I put on a receiver and added the mopar wiring harness for a 7-pin plug and trailer brake.

Great spot to plug in the line of fire and reverse light bar also!

Alright, good to know its 'supposed' to be like that. And is that really all thats involved as far as the wiring for the light bar? If so, sweet. I just showed the ol' lady that pic you had in another thread Raider, of the back of your truck. Exactly the lights Im shooting for, 'cept I can't tint my tails, stupid VA laws.... Guess Ill start with the 3rd brakelight and work my way down.

Thanks for the info. Me and this forum def have a love/hate thing going
