yeah i told them im gunna do it, around 3 day turn around time and they were saying its so cheap because they do gloss black for a major company on a daily basis so it wouldnt be bad throwing my bumpers in the mix with them

well the bumpers are comming off tomorrow and leaving this weekend to get powdercoated monday, dont worry i already know pictures when done

decided to take the back one off today but ran into a little hitch no pun intended, i took off the four screws that holds the hidden hitch plug on my bumper on, but how do i take that assembly out without cutting the wires

I just checked the Haynes manual and it says to "remove any electrical connections that would interfere with bumper removal." Like that helps. These books suck sometimes. Its like when you want to remove your engine. You open up the book,find the right page and it says "1 Remove Negative battery terminal. 2 Remove engine. 3 install engine in reverse order. 4 Reconnect negative battery terminal." Gotta love it...

ha yeah they can be helpful sometimes but others there just good for holding papers down, yeah i was looking and cant find any screws on it to take apart the housing or anything, theres two what look like little metal posts on the side but there all rusted so i dont know if those where the screws or not

ha yeah got all the bolts off except one behind the license plate, the clip on the back is broke so it just spins so i have to find a way to get that off and they were so rusted the wrench whipped off smoking my thumb so now i got a nice blood blister thats killing but after a few "pops" and some obscenities its feeling better, tho i still cant find out how to get the hitch harness off to slide through the bumper or however that goes
