thinking about body lift

Default thinking about body lift

ok so i'm thinking about putting a 3 or 4" body lift on my 05 ram 1500, with 35 in tires and 22's. anyone got some pics of something similar?

ill be putting on a 3' pa on my rig as soon as the next bonus check from work comes in hell round hear its about $1,200 for on parts and labor. now i can and would love to do it myself but dont have a lift witch makes it easier

i thought a lift wasnt needed to install a body lift?. ive seen threads of people just using stands.

you dont need a lift but it makes it alot easier

3" is the largest available body lift, but you can achieve about 5.5" by utilizing a body lift with a very inexpensive level kit.

$1200 is crazy high for a lift plus installation. A top of the line PA lift is about $350 anywhere you buy it from, avg. install with a lift is probably about 4 hrs. in a shop with a mechanic and a helper. The local 4x4 and Gear shop here charges $850 for the whole job: Kit, Labor and Gap Guards.
You can do it yourself, in the driveway, with basic tools, and jack stands, probably take you a full 8 hour day...

oh ok. thats a good idea actually, i didnt realize i could use a leveling kit and a body lift.

i paid $300 shipped i think from truckcustomizers.com and the install cost me $700...they wanted $1000 for install but i talked them down
