I just purchased some General Grabber HTS tires and they are excellent so far. I replaced a very aggressive all-terrain tire with these which are moderate. So far soooo smooth on pavement, and they have a pretty good bite off road as well. Got 4 mounted and balanced for like $600.......

I'm trying to get Nokian Vativa H/T's . Nokians have the siping all the way through and are the only all season rated as a winter tire. they also have low rolling resistance so you might pick up a mile to the gallon.

Well here is what the local tire guy came back with...

Cooper Discoverer ATR $260 (CDN) + tax = $1175.20 FINAL
Cooper Zeon LTZ $240 (CDN) + tax = $1084.50
Toyo Open Country A/T $275 (CDN) + tax = $1243.00

All 3 tires above have a rating of 500, which translates to 80-100 000km. Much better the then stock Goodyear's, which have a rating of 340.

I was unable to find Yokohama Geolander ATS in my size, & the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo were way too expensive @ $325

Another option would be to drive to Buffalo NY and see what they have there? or who in Buffalo can recommend a tire shop so I can call them up and see what the price difference would be with the exchange.

yeah drive to the states get tires way cheaper ( if your close to the border) i have the toyo oc at and i love them. probably put 15000 on them so far with no signs of wear at all. my bro in law just got a deal for $195 per tire installed for 275-60-20 toyo at. i payed $225ish per tire back in october. cant go wrong with the toyos or the coopers. i have had bfg on other trucks and hated them.

Btw, they were $225 for the 305/50/20, but only like $175 for the 275/60/20
