Useless terminology.

Blasphemy is the disrespectful use of the name of one or more gods. It may include using sacred names as stress expletives without intention to pray or speak of sacred matters; it is also sometimes defined as language expressing disapproved beliefs, or disbelief.

Seems to me it's a Bible Thumper's use of the word Jesus Christ or any nasty swear word. Like the F-bomb...lmao

You know why history keeps repeating itself? Because instead of people saying things like "wow that was a bad move, i'll learn from that guys mistakes so i don't ever make that mistake", they say things like "wow that guy is a complete idiot" and then move on with their lives.

Most people have a habit of saying would've, could've, should've when they see someone do something stupid instead of putting themselves in that persons shoes.

Think of GM for example. They are almost out of business because of the way they did things.. People are saying stuff like "well they shouldn't have invested so much into gas guzzling trucks and SUVs when gas prices were going up and with our economy the way it is!" However, I don't think very many people could have predicted the spike in gas prices last year or our economy going down the drain a few years ago.

Anyone care to retort?

I could retort with a smart allic comment but I think I will not say it and be serious on this.

I think that to an extent that there were indications there that could have predicted that we would spiral, but at the same time, nothing was confirmed. Anything beyond this would go into the politics section of DF.

Human nature, we only believe things we can see 9 out of 10 times. while we can believe in things that are not material - its human nature to be stupid at times.

I will on the GM portion. You shouldnt laugh at them very hard since Chrysler isnt very far behind them....
Right now I am about to have a heart attack with the GM deal. I went threw $1000 in their stock, having a firm belief that it would bounce back in a couple of months. The future on this isnt looking too good, but maybe something will happen that will at least let me get my investment back....

At first with that front picture, I thought that it went through the windshield, or went through the hood. It sucks, you don't have much damage, but it's amazing what it'll cost. A whole new window, and a new tailgate. And the damage of what you can't fix at least to 100%.
And also, what you did wasn't stupid. Anyone who has ever done a project knows that they do want to get it done. So trying to rock it a little bit like you did, that's normal for people to do it. Unfortunately, it's usually that last little bit that goes over the edge, and makes you think "why?" But I'm really sorry to hear it, and glad you got it fixed.
Also for the Duramax, getting the HD tie rod ends is something he should've done a long time ago. That's one of the first things that you do ever if you have the 2500 Duramax.
Thanks ried. My buddy even said he should have done it a long time ago, but didnt want to pay the 280 for the HD tie rods. oh well.

Redone, you missed a whole hell of a lot. but im glad you did. I should have never got that mad that fast at something so little as words. I learned that lesson back in high school, and was reminded of it just now.

The stump... is out. we choked the strap, and pulled tension on it, and cut roots as we went. finally the last root was injured, so we gave it a little jolt, and she came.

I wanted a power sliding glass, but needed to save some money seeing as how there are other repairs that are needing to be made. I will leave the cab the way it is. Too much money to repair. Tailgate will be fixed, and thats it.

If I had to do it again, I would use the same process, just change a few details.
