Sucks man but at least no one was hurt...with the damage done to that tailgate someone could have easily died.

Right now I am about to have a heart attack with the GM deal. I went threw $1000 in their stock, having a firm belief that it would bounce back in a couple of months. The future on this isnt looking too good, but maybe something will happen that will at least let me get my investment back....
It's definately not a laughing matter. I don't want any of the big 3 to go down. That's thousands of jobs that people are losing and will lose.

Ford had the right idea though. They were way ahead of the game. I remember a few years ago when I still lived in Windsor, Ontario Ford was shutting down their plants and cutting back on their costs way before GM and Chrysler caught on.

I was a little worried. Last year my friend told me that GM was thinking about buying Chrysler. I was gonna go out and get a GM symbol and put it on my 300. Now they are in no position to be buying anything.

04,
Glad nobody was hurt (except for the Ram). It may not have been the brightest idea on how things were done, but there are very few people on here that haven't done something boneheaded in their life. And like you and your buddy, most of us learn from our mistakes and move on.
Sure it's easy to sit back and laugh while thinking "what a dumbass" but to err is human and we are all human (well most of us anyway). Just look at it as an expensive learning experience and move on.
I'm surely not going to bash you for it, I've done some really stupid things in my life from not thinking them through first.

Perhaps you can remove the headliner and knock the dent back out of the roof?

Real sorry to see that happen to ya buddy. Being a professional tree cutter, I did kinda sorta crack a smile when I saw the scenario breakdown. But, I really am glad that you and everyone involved are ok.

Like lxman said, chop it up as an expensive lesson learned. Im still a youngin, but have done SEVERAL complete dumbass things, due to lack of thought process before hand. Live and learn my friend, the lucky ones do the first part, the smart ones do the second half
