Default Truck Tool Box

Ok, I am getting a toolbox(the chest type that you cant see) this weekend. I am wanting to get one of those UWS boxes, Ive heard they were really good. But then at lowes I saw one of those Kobalt boxes for $270...

Any bad reviews or stories about them? Over $100 cheaper, just wondering if anybody has horror stories about "you get what you pay for"

270 is still paying alot, imo. so i would expect good quality from it. i have seen the Kobalts there, and they seem similar to BetterBuilt, which is another big name. post some pics of the one you get, im thinking about getting one that is below the rail also.

The only problem Ive ever had with a box is the latch... mine right now sucks only one side works and you have to slam it to get it to latch closed. But thats the worst Iver ever had to deal with. Mine is second hand Better Built and its like 6 or 7 years old... But the Kobalts look pretty solid and the replacement latches arent that expensive so you should be fine with that purchase.

at work we use a lot of kobalt they warranty their tools for life like craftsman wrenches and sockets handtools and such wonder if they carry a warranty on their boxes? we have a few of them (boxes)and the only prob is the latches and they are inexpensive to replace or just spray with some wd once a mth and itll be fine.....
