I am new to the dodge forum and was wandering if I got a intake for a 4.7, would it fit on my 3.7? As far as I can see the engine bay looks completely the same. My buddy has one on his 4.7 and was going to get another one. And I was gonna get this one from him. Thanks in advance.

 

I think your mounts will be different but you could definitely go to home depot and make if fit for less than $20! And every intake is different, what brand/type? Full CAI or just tube/filter?

it is just a short ram air intake. i think he got it off ebay. it is powdercoated black, one pipe and a filter. nothing special.

 

It should fit without a problem. What year is your friend's truck and what year is your's?

 

both are 05.

well finally got it on. my buddy got this one in the mail, it was not what he ordered and they told him to keep it and they sent him his original order. so he just gave this one to me.

 

That looks like mine, minus half the intake pipe. Where did he order the intake from, it looks like a shortened version of the mopar/AEM intakes.
