Stock Chrome Rims Painted??

ramhunter1 just put a set of 20's on his truck and they are black chrome I think he only paid like 500 bucks for them and he got them from 4wheelparts.com. Here is the link to the thread so you can see what they look like.

Yea I saw that... But I was wondering about the stock 20's that are chrome being painted black.

Powder coating is the best option as far as tough finish that will tolerate wear and tear.

i dont think you can powdercoat plastic.... and some have painted the clads cuz i was wondering about that too .... one guy on here painted his plastic covers on his clads and it came out looking great so each to there own it can be done ....how long it will last im not sure....best of luck we want pics if u proceed

Most plastics can be powder coated. I am not sure about the wheels, but I would think it would be safe. Here's a link that might explain itbetter than I can
