20" to 17"
I know this is a well worn topic, but I would like to drop down to 17" wheels. I talked with tires store and they told me I would not be able to fit 17" rims because the calipers would not clear. Anyone else have this problem? I have a '02 4x4 ram with factory 20's. Thanks

I agree. Find a tire shop with smart people working there. I walked out on a shop when they told me that I had to get 17" wheels for my Jetta.
Yes, it in fact had 17s from the factory, but other models had 15s over the same brakes.

I have a set of 17 inch wheel with 4400 miles on them I'm willing to trade for a set of 20 's, that all 5 wheels. I live in northern Delaware. I have the Clear coated silver spoke wheels. Post here if interested. thanks
I've researched this, too. It's really 16 inch wheels you'd have trouble with since most, maybe all, won't fit over the huge brake calipers. As to the 17s, probably not an issue and a good wheel shop will be able to confirm which ones fit for sure.
