I have an 07 and i went with the leveling kit not too long ago as well. I kept my stock front shocks and everything but shortly after I did that my front driver's side shock developed a leak and had to be replaced. I went to my local Dodge Dealer b/c the truck was still under warranty for them to replace it. They tried to argue with me and say that the kit "altered the vehicle" and therefore voided the warranty but the service manager told them that that small a lift wouldn't do anything. They finally replaced it for free but after having to wait for over a month for a shock. Evidently there were over 2,000 on order so idk if they're having probs with that model year or what. So when u do it just watch those shocks for leaks.

Using stock shocks with a leveling kit will reduce ride height capability. You will bottom out on smaller bumps compared to before.
