Default 2004 Ram Radar Hardwire Install Pics

Hey everyone I have been doing some reading before tackling this project and I thought I would post the result.

I hardwired a Escort X50. The smart display unit was mounted below the AC controls in our small storage tray. This is also where my ipod lays. Wires would routed through the back and out.

Power was pulled from the Cigar Outlet. This particular outlet is protected by a 20A fuse. The hardwire kit has a inline 2A fuse. Ground is self explanatory.

The radar connector line was run up the A pillar and tucked in the headliner.

Let me know what you think. If you have any questions or want a better explanation just let me know

Sam

Looks good. I did my beltronics 995 a couple of months ago. I liked is so much, I hardwired my wife's Acura too. Makes it a lot cleaner. I never did like the whole cord thing. That always sucked.
