i finally got my exhaust system done on my 03 4.7L - i went with the flowmaster 40 series muffler and it sounds awesome. as was going to get some video footage but when we had the truck up on the lift i noticed some coolant leak coming from around the water pump area. so brought it back to the dealer and they will be replacing it since its still under warranty.

i'll have the sound clip very soon.

 

How much is the Flowmaster 40 Series? I have a muffler shop near my place and they are call Muffler Tech. Have you guys ever heard of them?

And will installing an aftermarket exhaust reduce my MPG.? Or will it stays the same? Just wandering.

 

my whole cat back custom exhaust costs me $350.00 (3" pipes with the flowmaster 40 series muffler and tip). i was only expecting to spend 250 but it sure sounds very nice!
