I got the truck back from the dealership; the popping noise was a bad tie rod end. They also realligned the steering. However, I still feel the symptoms of a bad steering rack, I don't think they touched it. I have 1400 miles left on my "bumper to bumper" warranty, so I want to spend the next week making sure it's still there before I go bringing it back to them again. Otherwise everything seems to be running good. I did realize that when I am parking the vehicle and having to jossle it around back and forth and turning the steering wheel a lot, it really drains the rpms and it gets down to about 500rpms. Is this because it's working extra hard to turn the steering wheel with the leak?

It don't sound like its right. I would stay at the stealership untill its right. Stay in their face untill its fixed to your satisfaction while you have the warranty. And by the way, yall shor grow squarils big in Maine!!!

Ok guys, here is the weird motor sound I've been hearing on the truck, and I don't know what it is. It's coming from both sides of the motor. I took this video inside the driver side fender well. Is this an exhaust leak? The video sounds much more intense than it really sounds, but you can definitely hear a clicking sound while it's idling. Or are these valves clicking? Your help would be appreciated. I'd like to hit the dealership on this before my bumper to bumper warranty expires. Thank You!
