Around $50 for both sets of pads, and about the same per rotor if needed. So anywhere from $50 - $150 +/-.

ps hose probably just needs the clamp, thats what i did with mine after the stealership quoted me $120/ each hose. the sway bar doesnt "wear out", so that doesnt make sense. maybe the sway bar end links, but those are only 2 bolts holding them on. and the ball joints, if i recall correctly they are under $50/piece for the parts.

wish you were around here, id definitely help ya out. the alignment would be all you had to take it in for. go get your truck back so you dont get screwed!!! lol.
the guys said they were going to replace the brakes and turn the rotors i believe..i said "even if you clamp the hose it will still leak?" and he said it was split so i will need to replace it..he also said the sway bar needs replacement and "he doesn't know how i didn't hear it"..i really didn't hear anything except the creeking from the ball joint

Having a hard time believing this one, If I take my truck down to a brake shop I can and have had my brake pads replaced with decent pads and the rotors turned on all 4 wheels out the door for under $120 after tax.

Just to give you an idea on how much the dealership marks up parts. The power window assembly (motor, etc.) took a sh*t on the drivers window of my Grand Cherokee about 2 weeks ago.
I figured, easy enough to do, pop the door panel, look at how the broken one is in there, take it out and replace. Just need to buy a new one.
Called two dealerships, both wanted $289 for the part!!! Just out of curiosity, I inquired about installation, one wanted $150, the other $180!!!

Found the actual Mopar unit online for $179 and NAPA had the OEM for $129!

I ended up buying a remanufactured unit off ebay for $60 (after core reimbursement) with a lifetime warranty...

So think about how much you are over paying for the cumulative price of all those parts!!!

BTW: I have a coupon in my hand right now from my local Dodge dealer for a set (2) of brake pads, installed, with rotors inspected and turned if needed for $119.95 + tax for Mopar Value Line pads and $159.95 + tax for Semi-Metallic. Either are a little bit cheaper than your $397 quote. At least make them give you a complimentary tube of K/Y!

I said the going rate for a shop. and thats around here. I didnt say it was fair, but i have gotten quotes for our dodge work vans. 120 for everything is a helluva deal...the pads alone are about that...just checked, $60 for front lifetime warranty ceramic pads alone, plus $15 for each rotor to get turned. at least one hour of shop labor for front, which out here is $75/hr. so thats around 300 at least, for all 4 pads and rotors turned with labor. personally, i just buy the pads, make my own decision on turning the rotors, and go from there. it takes me less than an hour per axle to replace just the pads using our shop and my tools here.

but anyways, main point is he is paying waaay more than what he had to. im curious as to what went wrong with the sway bar, and how it was making "noise" though...

Good point, I missed that one. I've never seen a sway bar "go bad" unless it was physically damaged from off-roading or an accident...

yeah I've seen mounts crack or break, bushings fall out or crack, end links break, etc. on racecars but havent seen an actual bar go "bad". and all the parts should be replaceable. its 1" solid steel, so unless like you said smacking it on a rock or somethin, i dont understand what happened. or is it just one of those "needs blinker fluid" type deals? hope not, coming from a dealer though.

Hmmm....Doesn't make sense to me either. Makes me glad that I do most of my work myself, and have lifetime alignment at a trusted Firestone... That was a well spent $120. It is rediculous they are chargin you almost $100 for an alignment, when you can go to firestone and get alignments for as long as you own the truck for only $20 more.

I could see a sway bar bending out of shape over many years and miles (it does act like a spring), but I've never heard anyone refer to one as worn out...
