Yes, the ported tb's do work very well. It is the tb spacers that don't work on our trucks.

Go to thefastman.com. He will custom port one for you. There are other places you can get them but the prices are much higher.

I just installed the Fastman Dan TB on my truck this weekend. I love the throttle response it has now. Very, very easy to install. I would consider it a beginer level mod. Worth every penny in my opinion.

I had a fastman tb on my magnum engine in my 2nd gen ram and it worked great. It is what convinced me to get one for my 5.7.

what size should i get i see that he offers a variety of sizes for my 4.7, does it matter? Or is that just telling me the genral size of the bore/hole?

Call Dan, he is very easy to talk to. That is what I did before I ordered mine. He asked me a few questions about what I used the truck for, I asked a few questions and I placed my order. He also answered a few questions that didn't pertain to the TB. So give him a call.
