Default Throttlebody

I am thinking about buying a Tb from thefastman.com will these tb's give my truck better airflow? Power? Will it change the sound of my exhaust? Also do they come with everything you need to take the old one out and put the new one in? Thanks for you help.

I see that you have a 4.7, so it is different than the one I have but I did get a ported tb from fastman for my Hemi and it is a very nice mod. It added some nice throttle response to my truck especially in everyday driving.

Mine was a simple swap, pull the four bolts and electronic plug off the old one and bolt up & plug in the new one. Should take you no more than 10 minutes total. I found the new tb for my truck to be 100% worth it. The swap greatly improved my throttle response.

Did you get the actual throttle body or a throttle body spacer? Usually its the spacer (which is worthless) that makes the extra whistling noise, not the TB itself.

I had a feeling it might have been a spacer only, that has not been mentioned anywhere in this thread, that you were referring to.....lol
