Most places cops can't do anything about ground effects. The glow is legal as long as you can't see the actual bulb(s). I also don't think the laws state anything about downward facing red/blue lights being illegal.

 

i cant believe people here got issues with the cops for just sitting in a parking spot with them flashing. I know that you cant drive with them flashing any color of a emergency vehicle but i know most laws of states says anything goes when the car isnt moving. I just keep copy of my local law in my truck in case i have any problems with cops. i have the 7 color and i have had them on in a number colors in front of the cops and no trouble so far

 

Just join your local VFD and you will be ok!

 

Tried to join the VFW and they lost my application and the copy of my dd214. I have issues with people that can't keep personal info safe. This is the way someones identity gets stolen. They won't even return my calls when I leave a message. Sorry for the hijack of the thread and will shut up now.
