Default Red Halos.... Legal??

i have really really really been wanting to change my headlights out. im need to save a little bit but i know what i want.

question is though if I will get in trouble. I can imagine how great they would look and have seen different color halo's driving on the road. but never red

this seller on ebay allows you to pick the color. here is the link...

I am guessing they are prob. illegal unless your car or truck came with them from the factory. U can get the new camaro with red halos, its a special edition option.

We had red halos on my dads BMW M6 and the following night that I installed them we got pulled over and got a ticket for it. We had to take them out.

They looked sick as hell though. We are thinking about putting them back in. :-)

The ruling that was told to me and my friend he had blue window washer leds on his civic and the officer said you can not have any forward facing red/blue lights because it could be mistaken for an emergency vehicle he got off with a warning since it was 2 little lights but it would look pretty good

Any red lights ahead of the rear wheels are illegal.

yea any blue or red anywhere of a light is considered illegal because of emergency vehicles.. and i was in a parking lot with my Underbodies going and a cop came over and told me to shut them off and i got off with a warning? stupid as hell that we cant have any fun.. i mean common blue and red are the most common used Neon light for vehicles... Just cops trying to ruin everyones fun :P

Red or blue on the front of a vehicle, I completely agree with that. That should be illegal for the general public. But when was the last time you saw a cop with neon under the body. Some cops have no common sense, especially if you were parked when you had them on.

idk but if cops had underbody LEDs goin while they had there other lights going would be pretty sweet though too.. i can make my underbodies flash abck and forth red and blue exactly like a cops top lights.. i also changed out my Yellow blinker lights to red Blinkers and i havnt had any problems with the five-O.. and this has been for about 7 months now...
