Default Code P2096 Downstream fuel system 1/2 lean

Any mechanics out there know what the issue is more times than not.
Options were;
exhaust leak- I dont have one
engine mechanical fault
o2 sensor fault-check other codes-no other codes popped up
fuel contamination

Just looking to see what the issue usually is with this. Its going to the dealer tomorrow. I hope whatever it is, is under waranty.

thanks, Jason

They should be under the emissions warranty, not sure how long it is on an 05.

covered under the powertrain warranty if you still have it. Otherwise I'd just put them in myself.

We have an 06 Ram with 95k miles. We took it to Kansas over Spring break and got the code. I went to AutoZone, had it read and then reset. We went back for July 4th weekend and got it again. I didn't reset it this time, but after a few days back in Texas, the light went out. I'm starting to wonder if the Ethonal in the gas in Kansas might have had something to do with it. Either way, I'm replacing all four O2 sensors and she's getting a K&N Cold Air Intake. I gotta figure out how to beat this 11.2mpg that I'm getting.
