Has anyone with a reg cab short bed installed one of these? Im trying to find a spot to put it now. I crawled under the truck last night and its tight for space under there with the cat-back system installed. From the cat to the muffler there is maybe a foot and a half of room and the pipe is at an angle. Im thinking Im going to have to modify the cutout or shorten the tube it comes with to fit on that angled piece. I'll take a pic when I get home this afternoon but there is litteraly no room....

You have a hell of a lot more pipe available to splice into than what I have on mine. I will take a pic when I got off work. Your truck sounds wonderful though

you can just buy the valve. and custom fab a dump pipe to fit your needs.

Alright for those who have installed cut outs before, where exactly did you install them? This is really the only spot I have to put it after the "Y" pipe.

I guess Im just trying to figure out how to make it fit

Wow, I didn’t realize how little room there was under a regular cab. I have a QC, so there was around 3-4 feet of room between the y-pipe and my Flowmaster muffler. The pipe that came with my cutout was only about a foot long, and I installed it right after the y-pipe. Does the pipe have to be bent to fit? It looks like the only thing that may be in the way would be the cross member right before the muffler where the pipe starts to bend up, but I can’t tell how far away your exhaust is from that. I can’t quite tell from the pictures, but it almost looks like you could put the cutout in with a little piece of straight pipe to fit to the muffler.
