Everyone becomes your best friend...
when you are the only guy in your dorm with a truck big enough to haul a thousand pound payload
I got asked to go over to another dorm at my college and move "a few rubber mats" and bring em back to my building for a new weight room. these mats were 3/4 inch thick, 5X4 footers, i think they weigh approximately 120-130 pounds apiece. i loaded up the ol' Ram with 8 per load and did 2 loads, so i had the leafs pretty well mashed with 960-1040 pounds
i love having a big truck that can actually haul stuff. oh and i got a lot of these looks

When it becomes a regular weekend thing of friends and familly asking you to use your truck to help them move something, or pick something up or whatever it gets old fast.... Then you get a bed cover, no more asking if I could haul stuff around for people unless its in a trailer
A few weeks ago a friend was over and before he left, we were standing out by my truck and he goes "You know that building in front of our barn? We tore it down. And theres scrap metal roofing to get rid of." Then he kind of leaned towards my truck. I said you need help hauling it away don't you? "Yeah"
So we hauled a couple loads of scrap. I enjoy hauling stuff.
