Where is the extra 20 hp & tq felt: is it more in the top end with high rpm, or do you get some in the bottom end also? I think the high end would be great, but for my everyday driving the low end may be the way to go.

Mid-high is where it's felt the most...if you want to drastically change your power curve a cam would be your best choice.

if you have a tuner you should always set it back to stock before you bring it to the dealership if you dont and they upgrade your system with the factory setting you will lose the program you just paid a nice buck for

Default swap from a 47 to a 57

how much work would go into pulling my 47 and dropping a 57 hemi into my 2003 dodge 1500 and an estimated price off top of heads would awesome thanks

The price would be.....more than the difference of selling your truck and buying a hemi ram. Not to mention resale would be lower on an engine swapped vehicle...even if you're a shady seller everyone and their mother pulls a carfax now-a-days.

The 4.7 is a solid engine and it's overhead cam design gives it some perks that a pushrod engine like the hemi doesn't have. So I ouldn't be too quick to toss it. Since you have the money for a swap (5k+) i'd put that money into your 4.7 and make a beast of it. Depending on the route you go mod wise it could be cheaper or more expensive than a hemi swap.

Yes, Diablo and Predator are the same thing. What year truck do you have? If it is one of the years that they have trans control over (I believe it is 06 and newer) then I would say go with the Diablo.
