ok so i found a deal on a srt hood for 400. It was already silver and the guy said he was pretty sure it was my paint code (psb). He started emailing me about it about 2 months ago. He said that his truck was in the shop and he could ship out the hood in a couple weeks. well weeks turned to months. but a couple days ago i finally get pics of the hood and its in perfect condition. I ask him today to make sure of the paint code since he said he thought it was psb. then i get an email back saying its ps2!! soo it looks like im not gonna get it anymore bc i dont want to pay for the hood, 220 in shipping ande then to have it repainted. sorry for the long post but I just felt like venting. If anyone else is interested in the hood pm and ill give you the details.

 

i wouldnt think they're much different? I know dodge uses different codes..my dad's ram and my dakota are exact same color but codes aren't even close.

ps2 is darker im pretty sure. and from your sig they dont look the same to me...

I can't believe that, after all the time you spent waiting and it is the wrong color. That sucks dude, I am really sorry that it didn't work out bc I know you were really looking forward to getting that hood.

 

Dude that sucks. Even if you bought and painted it, it's still not that bad of a price.

 

800 plus is too much for me. ill just find one in my area and get it painted.
