youd be better off grabbing another cat from a scrap yard and having someone weld some true duals on for under a hundred... course you gotta have a friend with a welder and then you gotta get a deal on the headers but, meh those are just details...

yeah i have replaced the factory y pipe with a summit racing kit for like 130 bucks, which included there street legal chambered muffler, not sure exactly which one, but that with the y pipe makes it sound awesome and strong, and the increased flow and back scavenging has def added plenty of power to justify buying it, they throttle body spacer does add some power but increases fuel mileage alot over stock, makes stock and any aftermarket intake very efficient over stock flow, little pricey though, not looking to change out gears yet, but the headers and under drive pulleys sound like god ideas, but is there really problems with alternator output, does anyone have any hands on knowledge to that statement?

oh would anyone also know of any ideas on how to get the mechanical fan and clutch assembly off, i pretty much spent the better part of my last day off trying to get it off and to no avail, it is a little rusty, just surface rust though, i put a huge 16" wrench on the nut part and used everything from a pipe clamp to regular clamps to a home made steel bar that was over 1/4 inch of flat high carbon steel with two bolts threaded though the pulley and was over 3 feet long and that still was not enough torque to free it, i ended up bending the steel bar which i should never have been able to, and yes i know it is reverse threaded and used plenty of penetrating lube and wd40 and whatnot, but still wont come free, is there another way or could i just take and cut it off like halfway down the nut part, i dont want to have any problems is all, just want to be able to put on the darn electric fans i have sitting in my garage for the past week!

Old thread, you can get a y-pipe from magnaflow or flowmaster and have a shop put it in. Moesperformance and autoanything both sell magnaflow y-pipes which are about $25.

Most guys get the 2.50 in 3 out one and if the size is a little off the exhaust shop can make it work.
