Default finished my exhaust...

Hey guys. The title says it. I finally went down to the shop, and welded it up this morning. It did have a turn down, but obviously not anymore.

Its 3" out of the muffler, and a 4" tip. I went down to the local muffler shop, had him take a measurement, bend a piece for me. Then I took the tip that was handed down to me, un-used, and went to town. I cut the turn down off right at the muffler, then welded the new exhaust right on.

The tip had some kind of mesh inside, so I ran the 3" all the way through the tip, then tacked the back of the tip to the 3". I did this, because I wanted to keep the same sound as before, and I didnt know how the tip would affect the sound with that mesh in it.

It looks good man. I will tell you this, I had that same exact tip before and the mesh part rusted out in a matter of months. It is good that you ran the pipe all the way through it bc that is a resonated tip and it would have changed the sound of your exhaust if you had attached it to the end of the pipe.

+1 on the winch mount!!!!! man that thing looks clean! I've always thought theres a ton of room behind the bumper to put a winch, but wondered how to get it structurally secure. at least take some pics of the winch and mount...

Yep I id it. I wont have time to post tomorrow, and beer is calling me right now, but I will get it on here on Monday. Im just waiting for some more pictures. Im going to take a few more pics before I post.

Ive always had those rocker panels. I think it looks good because my truck is silver, and it just sets it off enough. Plus i have the chrome bumpers, so the chrome just wraps all the way around. looks good in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments guys. She sounds even more knarly!
